We are highlighting one of our essential sociological studies, Cardiac Disability Maligns Upheaval, which was published in the May 2014 issue of The International Journal Of Humanities & Social Studies. This important work continues to be highly relevant to our understanding of the social implications of health.
This research provides a medical sociological perspective on how coronary heart disease (CHD) negatively impacts the socio-cultural roles of qualified and talented citizens. The study surveyed patients with various skills (educational, technical, etc.) and found that when these individuals become incapacitated, the surrounding community suffers a development lag. The core conclusion is that mental and physical health must remain sound for society and culture to thrive.
